About the Artists

Sisters Claudia Hepler and Carollee Ifft finally heeded the advice of their mother when she counseled them to enjoy their life’s work.  As a child, Claudia wished that she could jump into a cartoon world, and Carollee, well, let’s just say she (mis)spent her childhood organizing herself and others.

Claudia (a middle child and a free spirit who, by the way, would rather die than do paper work) conned, cajoled, and finally begged Carollee (the baby of the family whose birth order doesn’t prevent her from behaving as if she was the oldest, responsible first child) to leave a steady, predictable and salaried job as an office manager to take a chance on FUN.

Claudia then convinced their mom, a retired school teacher, that nothing could be more rewarding than clearing her busy social schedule and becoming an all around office gopher.

Claudia, Carollee and mother Joane, have worked together ceaselessly for the past four years breathing life into Monkey Moments.
